dating: 19th Century provenance: Borneo, Heavy, curved, single-edged blade, with groove near the back and small carvings, the back with brass crossbars. Deer-horn hilt, vegetable fibre wire binding, the pommel richly carved and pierced. Wooden scabbard, with braided fibre bands and goat hair decorations. Malaysia, West Borneo or Sarawak. length 68 cm.
