dating: circa 1900 provenance: Sumatra, Single-edged blade. Horn grip with sculpted pommel and base of decorated silver. Wooden scabbard with sculpted horn cap and silver mounts decorated with geometrical motifs. See similar items in 'Traditional Weapons of the Indonesian Archipelago' by Albert G. van Zonneveld, page 149. length 27.5 cm.
