dating: 19th Century provenance: Borneo, Straight, single-edged blade with tip lowered at the back. Small hilt made of carved deer horn with base covered with fine vegetable fiber wire binding. Wooden scabbard engraved on the front side and with intertwined rattan bands. Complete with piso raout completely made of iron and with vegetable fiber suspension rope. For a boy's initiation. Rare. length 37.7 cm.
