dating: 19th Century provenance: Sumatra, Slightly curved, single-edged blade, made of pamor, the base carved and pierced, double groove near the back. Curved hilt with stylized bird's head decorated with silver mounts, the ferrule finely embossed with floral motifs. Wooden scabbard with carved horn mouthpiece, the rest covered in banded silver foil. length 35 cm.
