dating: 19th Century provenance: Borneo, Fine, curved, engraved, single-edged blade with brass inlays (missing parts) all over its length and with back groove up to the half, then carved and pierced at the back, two curls at the base on the edged side. Fine, richly sculpted, bone grip, the base covered with vegetal wire binding. Partially sculpted wooden scabbard, held by intertwined vegetal fibers and decorated with horsehair, bone mouth. North Borneo, Sarawak. length 66 cm.
