dating: 19th Century provenance: Myanmar, Single-edged, iron blade, narrowed at the center and widened towards the weak, with flat tip. Wooden hilt with enlarged pommel, decorated with a bone plate and engraved with a stylized Union Jack, brass ferrule. Typical, wide, wooden scabbard, open at the top and with closure made of wide bands of red colored rattan with remains of the suspension circle decorated with a tusk and jaws with wild boar teeth. Small defects and missing parts. length 59.7 cm.
