dating: 18th Century provenance: Sumatra, Solid, straight, single-edged blade with carvings at the base. Deer-horn grip, the upper part sculpted with an anthropomorphic figure, brass ring-nut. Wooden scabbard, chape carved with geometrical and floral motifs, the other parts decorated with silver and brass bands, partially smooth, basketworks at the edges. Small missing parts. Very rare. length 68 cm.
