dating: early 20th Century provenance: Kalimantan, Unusual and long, solid, single-edged blade with brass inlays and carvings at the back. Bone hilt, richly sculpted and with remains of horsehair, grip with vegetal fiber covering (small missing parts). Fine, wooden scabbard, partially sculpted with birds' heads, horn cap and fiber wire binding. Suspension rope made of twisted fiber and with deer-horn pendent decorated with cloth stripes and colored stones. Scabbard with knife at the back, sculpted bone haft. length 73.5 cm.
