Faceted barrel, with tubular magazine, marked "VENDITTI & C.I LANCUSI" among floral motifs; brass frame with iron side plates, decorated with floral engravings; trigger guard with lever, ring-shaped magazine; grip with checkered, wooden grips, butt-plate with suspension ring. Working mechanisms. Rare. Illustrated in "Diana Armi", January 1st, 1988, Editoriale Olimpia, pages 70-73. Pietro Antonio Venditti, Torre Annunziata and Naples (1828 - 1878). After being released from hard labour due to a conviction for murder, he starts his first business in Torre Annunziata (Naples, Italy); after several patents, he manufactured his well-known repeating pistol with ten and even twenty six shots.
