Smoothbore, round, damask barrels, 18 mm cal. at the nozzle, provided with longitudinal fluted decorations in the first segment, with central rib with brass foresight. Tang engraved with racemes. Forward spring locks engraved with racemes like the cocks and featuring the signature "MENGHINI / FIRENZE". Wooden half stock finely carved with a bearded man's face in the lower part of the butt-stock, the base with remains of checkering and rocaille in relief; a large raceme carving next to the cheekpiece. Some signs of use and time, light pitting to the iron parts. Iron mounts carved with racemes. Wooden ramrod complete with cartridge extractors.
