Made of iron. Central plate consisting of two halves joined together by rivets. The front part of the back decorated with a central cannelure running to the raised border of the muzzle; this last piece is and attached through rivets. The upper element provided with bulb-shaped, half-mooned blinkers, held by rivets, with long cheek-pieces slightly cusped upwards and with smooth, roped and riveted borders. With a conical-shaped cusp at the centre featuring a petal-shaped base. All the elements, except for the blinkers, are roped en suite with the cheek-pieces. The external surface with a fine patina and fine aging with pitting and some bumps. Bituminous, black back plate. Good manufacture.
