Curved, single-and short false-edged blade, with fuller on almost all its length, some pitting, with remains of bluing and small floral and trophy engravings at the forte; gilt base, engraved and with the initials "I. G. B." on one face. Brass hilt with stirrup guard (small repair to the parry quillon and the guard) decorated with knot at the centre. Cusped langets. Short cap with "côtes de melon" cap. Wooden grip (small crack on one side) finely checkered and with longitudinal grooves along the borders. Iron scabbard with leather covering (later) with chape and brass cap.
