Smoothbore, round barrel, 17,8 mm cal. at the nozzle, with octagonal breech, marked at the base with "L" surmounted by a star, "D" surmounted by a crown, date "B 1818" and with remains of other marks. Tang with model inscription "M 1777". Wooden, full stock with small signs of use and a couple of woodworm holes. Butt stock with stamp dated 1818 and remains of other stamps. Lock marked "St. Etienne Manuf.re Royale" and bearing "S" mark surmounted by fleur-de-lis. Working mechanism. Iron mounts and ramrod. With a socket bayonet.
