Charleville
length 145 cm.
Smoothbore, round, 17,8 mm cal. barrel, marked at the base with various marks including "P" and "D" under crown and with date "1815", provided with clutch for the bayonet. Smooth tang engraved with "M.e 1777". Lock with barely legible mark and marked "Manuf.re Imp.le / de Charleville", brass pan. Walnut, full stock, on the butt Neuchatel Battalion 1804 mark on one side and red stamp on the other; iron mounts. Bands bearing remains of various marks, the one near the nozzle bearing a brass foresight. Iron ramrod. Socket bayonet bearing various marks (length 53 cm). Complete with strap and brown leather batterie cover. In wooden case covered in brown leather, the interior in soft red satin.
