Octagonal, rifled, 12 mm cal. barrel (clean bore, clearly visible rifling), the first part engraved with patent "ADAM'S PATENT", provided with foresight and sight; five-shot cylinder with mark of the Liege test bench, marked with "M" under crown and serial number "57xx"; frame engraved with borders engraved with geometric motifs, with patent's stamp and date "ADAMS 1851 PATENT", marked with "M" and same serial number, cartridge rammer. Trigger guard and butt-plat engraved en suite, the latter with primer case. With remains of antique browning on the surface. The external spring on the left side is missing. Knurled wooden grip. Mechanism working in single action.
