Long and solid, curved, single-and short false-edged blade, with fuller for almost its entire length and grooved near the back; with a trophy and a floral motif framing the motto "VIVA LA REPUBBLICA ITALIANA" at the forte, on the right side, with fasces surmounted by the revolutionary Phrygian cap set among laurels, around floral decorations on the left side. Width at the base: 3.9 cm, blade length: 88 cm. Pitting at the forte. Steel hilt with stirrup guard webbed upwards. Parry quillon curved and lobed at the head. Long, smooth cap with small cusp. Grip with antique leather covering and brass wire binding. Without scabbard.
