Made of brown cloth with red trimmed velvet cuffs and collar. Gold buttons with Military Union markings. Metal stars at the collar. Black cloth lining. Signs of use and time, but apparently without moth holes. Together with a pair of brass-type metal medical officer's epaulettes with medical officer's ornament featuring remains of gilding; the black undercoat with hook featuring Military Union markings and remains of silver plating.
