Straight, double-edged blade of slightly hexagonal section, with central groove bearing remains of the signature "FERNANDO FERARA", with short tang; iron hilt with rectangular center of crossguard decorated with vertical grooves as well as the plum-shaped pommel, beautiful flower-shaped rain-guard with richly pierced petals; wooden grip covered with wire binding and wire moor's head (of later date).
