Smoothbore, two-stage barrel, squared powder chamber, with double outlines at the sides, then round with three grooved frames, moulded muzzle at the nozzle and a grooved frame at the tang. Engraved with the signature "Lazarino Cominazzo" in block capitals among clovers. Beautiful lock with slightly convex plate, majestically carved with masks and volutes ending in dragon heads. Briarwood full stock (cracked under the lock) and with antique restoration at the end of the shaft. Iron mounts masterfully carved in bas-relief in the typical mid-17th-century Brescian style. The counterplate with belt hook featuring round eye. Original, iron-tipped, wooden ramrod with iron cartridge extractor.
