Wide, curved, single-and short false-edged blade, with wide fuller and short tang; at the base two marks not clearly legible (one perhaps "N", the other "LW"). On the back "M.f.ture du Klingenthal Coulaux Freres Entrep.rs". Brass hilt. Domed langets, "a la chasseur" guard with three loop-guards, and long cap. The main loop-guard with stamp "RJ" under crown and with another unreadable mark. Wooden grip with leather handle (some missing parts and defects) without wire binding. Iron scabbard (with several missing parts and pitting) with two lugs.
