Straight, double-edged blade, ribbed at the centre, of hexagonal section at the forte, with remains of blue finishing, featuring small, gold-inlaid floral and trophy engravings and marking 'S.H.' at the base. Gilded bronze hilt; rain guard with two valves, the outer surface decorated in bas-relief with a dog wrestling with a griffin, surrounded by spirals and flowers on a granulated background, the inner surface with similar decoration; hounds in relief also at the center of the crossguard, guard with rocaille; grip covered with copper wire binding and with Moor's heads. Spheroid pommel (partially abraded gilding) with trophies and button.
