Solid, octagonal, rifled, 15.5 mm cal. barrel (clean bore, excellent rifling), the base with inscription "J. H. Frey a Zürich" inside an ellipsis with checkered border, provided with adjustable rear sight and fore sight; smooth tang. Forward spring flintlock, flat lock plate with engraved roped border, centrally signed "J. H. Frey a Zürich," the cock engraved with floral motifs. Wooden full stock with checkered grip and palm rest, and an engraved silver shield with monogram on the grip. Brass mounts, anatomical trigger guard, trigger, and set trigger. Complete with brass-tipped wooden ramrod and a modern strap.
