Straight, double-edged blade of lenticular section, engraved on two-thirds of its length with floral motifs, featuring the monogram "VR" on both sides surmounted by the royal crown, marked "PHILLIPS 28 STRAND LONDON" on one side. Gilded brass hilt. Shell guard with the effigy of two eagles, bow and arrows in relief; palm and oak fronds on the edges. The lower side with scales. Guard with six-pointed star at the centre, among oak fronds. Pommel shaped as a plumed helmet. Handle with copper wire binding bearing remains of silver plating. Leather scabbard (broken at the centre and with signs of use) with gilt brass mounts en suite; chape with button and with the same inscription as the blade.
