Shinogi zukuri yori mune blade. Nagasa: 41,1 cm. O-kissaki. Hada: thick ko mokume with chikei (Bizen-style manufacturing). Hamon: Suguha in thick nioi deki. Boshi: suguha ko maru kaeriyoru. Nakago: light suriage kurijiri. Yasurime: kesho o-sujikai. Horimono: kurikara ura omote (dragon). Mei: "Sakuyo Bakka-shi Hosokawa Masamori Koku-in / Bunkyu Ni-nen nigatsu-hi". (Manufactured by Hosokawa Masamori, Bakufu's servant, from the Mimasaka area). Shinshinto-Bunkyu era (1862), Hosokawa Masayoshi (Yukihide) school. In elegant koshirae with tsuba in shakudo shaped as mokko, featuring a dragon among relieved clouds. The fuchi-kashira and menuki with dragons. All the elements en suite with the blade (kurikara). The fuchi signed "Goto Seijo" (fmaybe forth generation). With a dragon also at the kozuka. Saya with a very beautiful dragon lacquered in gold and red.
