Straight, double-edged blade of lenticular section (some pitting), with mark at the forte, on both sides, and the inscription 'P.O.R.T.O.' inside the fuller. Iron hilt. Rain guard with two valves, embossed with a scene of siege: in the foreground, a well-defined group of armored horsemen; in the center, a stylized depiction of troops with pikemen; in the background, the buildings of a city and some soldiers near a camp. Center of crossguard with a stylised warrior, guard with a caryatid at the centre worked in the round (wearing an old-fashioned armour); pommel with marching troops. Grip with iron wire binding and copper Moor's head.
