Cut but untrimmed pages, with deckle edges, almost completely unstained condition inside with minimal finishing, the volume can easily be consulted. Binding with some damage, but still intact. Antique, plain cardboard cover (parchment?) with remains of the manuscript title on the spine "Encylop. Planch. T.I." First volume of the plates of Didierot's famous "Encyclopédie". Numerous plates with constructions, mechanical notions and architectural structures such as dykes, canals, physics instruments, plates of military manoeuvres, fortifications, weapons and armaments, navy plates on equipment, flags, military manoeuvres, etc. Rare and interesting. Together with a recent volume reproducing the plates regarding military arts in the "Encyclopedie". Edition: Inter-Livres, Barcellona, second half of the 20th Century.
