Wide, curved, single-and-false-edged blade, with wide fuller at the center, the first part engraved and gilded on a blue background with sun, trophies, star with book and floral motifs; the base marked "WOOLLEY and Co. Sword Cuttlers to the Hon.ble East India Comp.y". The second part etched with sun, stars, winged fasces and with thunderbolts, trophies and floral motifs up to the first part of the weak. One-quillon, gilded metal hilt, provided with langets, cap carved like horsehair, faceted grip back. Wooden grip with remains of fish skin covering and metal wire binding. Re-gilded, iron scabbard without suspension rings (pertinent?).
