Entirely made of iron with a hemispherical skull surmounted by a low cusp of square section on a base shaped as a truncated cone, with wavy edge. Three riveted plume-holders at the front, holes (probably for a nasal bar) near the central one. Remains of three cartouches still visible, the side ones with drawings depicting tigers and other animals, the rear one with inscriptions in Arabic. The base with a band featuring few visible remains of carvings. Some external flaking. The edge with holes to attach the mail neck-defense. The inner part with surface rust. In patina. Needs cleaning.
