Burgonet with skull worked in one piece, provided with a medium height comb and border featuring remains of notched decoration. Pointed brim in one piece with the skull, ribbed a the center and featuring the Nuremberg mark. The ferrule fixed with rivets. On the back an iron plume-holder. The cheeck-pieces probably matching the left one stamped "XXX 11", the hinges with repairs. The borders with twisted ropes. Remains of a second mark inside the skull. The surface with various engraved decorations including coils and masks, depictions of armed knights on the sides of the skull. The gorget with two neck plates on both the front and back plate. Two-plate pauldrons. Beautifully-worked, twisted ropes, two levers to raise the brim with spring tooth on a hinged base, to eventually mount pauldrons. Also the gorget is engraved. Breastplate ribbed at the centre with pauldron small-plates fixed with rivets, twisted ropes. The backpiece with two plates. A large engraving on the breastplate depicting a knight surmounted by a canopy on which a divine lion defeats a dragon. The backpiece engraved en suite. Tassets with six blades engraved with spirals and mythological creatures. Six-plate tassets engraved with spirals and mythological creatures. The backplate with a culet plate and a large coat of arms engraved with men-at-arms under a canopy. Together with a pair of gauntlets, with articulated backs and full scaled fingers. Fine half armour of good quality, probably engraved in the 19th century.
