Shell-guard with imperial emblem in relief, snake-shaped guard with oak fronds, pommel shaped as a lion's head. Smooth mother-of-pearl grip scales, ring nut with royal monogram on one side and "VIRIBUS UNITIS" on the other side. Antique leather scabbard with gilt brass mounts and engraved with floral motifs.
