Round, rifled barrel with octagonal breech (visible rifling, clean bore), provided with adjustable and folding rear sight, foreight and clutch for the bayonet, the base with remains of marks such as "G", "D" and "C", on the right side the mark "MI". Folding bolt. Backward spring lock with Chatellerault imperial manufacture markings. Working mechanism. Wooden full stock with circular stamp on the butt-stock and marking with date "1864" and "MI". Iron mounts with marks. Iron ramrod. Complete with yatagan bayonet model 1844 of the same manufacture. Small defects. Rare.
