Round, rifled, 17 mm cal. barrel (clean bore, visible rifling), with octagonal base dated "SG 1852" and with several "CR" marks, foresight and clutch for the bayonet; tang with rear sight; forward spring lock marked "TORINO 1860" and with Piedmontese mark. Wooden stock with stamps, the one on the right side difficult to read. Brass and iron mounts with various marks, between them "MA" and "P.F.". Iron ramrod.
