Of black fur. The front frieze with brass flaming grenade. Tricolour fabric tassel complete with red feather. Leather chin-strap held by chain with brass mail. Inside leather cap with some signs of use and time but basically well preserved. In the lining, black plaque with remains of white stamps and remains of a maker's or retailer's label.
