Smoothbore, octagonal, 7.5 mm cal. barrel at the nozzle (bore with encrustments, it needs cleaning) of white metal marked "NON XLL" on one side and "UNWIN & RODGERS PATENTEES.SHEFFIELD" on the other, with mark of the Birmingham test bench. Steel breech, provided with extractor and bolt mounted on two long arms which opens by rotating it upwards. Steel frame almost completely covered along the sides with two long brown horn grip scales, one with clearly visible missing parts. Provided with two single-edged folding blades, one engraved with the inscription "PROTECTOR", stamped "VR" with crown and with another inscription "UNWIN & RODGERS PATENT", the other with the same patent at the base. White metal mounts. Folding trigger. Grip with opening compartment.
