Straight blade of hexagonal section, with floral engravings at the forte and signed 'Labruna / 1843 Napoli'. Gilded brass hilt. Two-valve butt plate decorated in relief on the hollow side with Asclepius' rods in relief. The gilding is well preserved. Handle featuring the monogram 'FII' for Ferdinand II of the Two Sicilies, in relief as the other decorations. Pommel with floral decorations in relief. The guard worked in the shape of a snake wrapped in laurel fronds. Wooden scabbard (slightly short) covered in white leather with remains of lacquering, one band missing. Chape and cap with gilding en suite with the smallsword and typical palm-shaped friezes. One lug.
