Brass hilt with remains of gilding, langets engraved with palmette, center of crossguard with trophy, quillon ending with a lion's head, angled loop-guard with hole at the top. Oval pommel engraved with laurel branches, short cap. Checkered ebony grip. Iron scabbard with brass mounts with two suspension rings on wide bands decorated with laurel wreaths. Long brass chape.
