Rifled, 8" barrel, octagonal in the first segment, marked "SMITH & WESSON / PATENT / CAST-STEEL / NORWICH CT." The inner bore still in good condition, with some signs of use and time and small pitting, but with still visible rifling along the entire length. Tubular magazine integrated under the barrel, complete with spring and slide. The barrel nozzle provided with the spring compartment, which can be rotated to reload the magazine. Iron frame with the factory's floral engravings. Signs of use and time and some pitting. Working mechanism with working leading lever. Serial number "4x" in the grip frame, on the left side. Fore-end, mounted on the back between extractor and hammer, with the same serial number. Walnut grips (one with repair, one with small restoration).
