Of shakudo and gold, koma inu attributed to Mino Mitsunaka. Made in two distinct portions, gold and shakudo, the guardian lion dog of Shintoist temples and a sphere decorated in gold. Mitsunaka, real name Watanabe Shinkichi, was Nitsutoki Nudai's second son-in-law. He lived between the Bunsai and Meiji eras (1830-1889) and had a preference for floral and animal motifs.
