Round, rifled barrel (visible rifling, some pitting near the muzzle), with foresight, back marked "COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. Co HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.", side mark "45 COLT ", side extractor. Six-shot cylinder, with fuller. Frame with two-line mark with patents of 1871 and 1875, rampant horse mark. Working, single-action mechanism (only three cocking positions, the first and second clicks without safe, indexing in correct). Iron trigger guard and grip. Wooden grip scales. Matching serial number "150xxx" on the frame, trigger guard and grip. Preserves large parts of the original browning.
