Curved, single-and-false-edged blade, with slightly hollow tip, wide central fuller and dorsal groove with remains of gilding. Short tang. The first side engraved with trophies and floral motifs, in the centre carved with fishbone, on the forte manufacturer's monogram 'S&J' and on the other side 'Solingen'. Fine silver hilt with langets, stirrup guard with toothed decoration. Horsehair pommel, long cap. Leather-covered wooden grip with metal wire binding. Leather-covered wooden scabbard with brass mounts with two suspension rings, iron knuckle-guard. Rare.
