dating: Early 19th Century provenance: Kingdom fo Italy (Napoleonic), Wide, curved, single-and short false-edged blade, with fuller for a good part of its length, bearing the remains of a mark at the base. Also at the base, on the back, the rare marking 'BARISONI'. Signs of use and pitting. Brass hilt with three loop-guards, thick sheath-guard wings, stamp on the main loop-guard. Long, smooth, brass cap. Grip without wire binding, with old leather bearing traces of lacquer. Iron scabbard with various marks of time and probably cleaned later. Interesting the mark at the drag, coeval with that of the guard. Two lugs. length 101,5 cm.
