dating: 17th Century provenance: Flanders, Thin blade of lozenge section, the first part with a deep groove featuring the inscription 'TOLEDO' on both sides. Iron mounts with round, slightly convex and richly pierced valve worked with petals; quillon block carved with four curved quillons, bud-shaped ends. Carved, oval pommel. Wooden handle covered with wire binding (incomplete) and iron-thread Moor's heads. length 105.5 cm.
