Information

dating: Second half of the 18th Century provenance: Poland, Slightly curved single-and-false-edged blade with groove on the back and hollow tip. Royal monogram at the base with 'SA' under crown which stands for King Stanislaus II Augustus on both sides. Iron hilt with quillon bending toward the blade and with curl at the end. Four loop-guards, long smooth cap and flat pointed pommel. Leather-covered wooden grip with metal wire binding. Complete with iron scabbard with two suspension rings. length 96 cm.
