dating: 1874 - 1889 circa provenance: Kingdom of Italy, Rifled, octagonal barrel, provided with front sight, 10.5 mm cal at the nozzle. Clean bore, visible rifling. Six-shot cylinder. Mechanism working in single and double action. Remains of 'MF' 'TAV' marks and remains of a crowned stamp. Marked with 'GLISENTI BRESCIA' on the left side (the marking is probably refreshed). Folding trigger of the Bodeo type. Well preserved (later?) grips made of checkered wood. Ring for the strap. It is probably one of the rare 1874 mod. revolvers modernized to the standards of the 1889 mod. See a similar arm in 'Pistole Militari Italiane' by L.
