dating: circa 1800 provenance: Japan, Heavy, round, smoothbore, 18 mm cal. barrel, with rib, enlarged nozzle with narrow base and high foresight, silver and brass decorations with a kanji, effigy of two dragons, clouds and a Tokugawa mon; rectangular cross-cut rear-sight; iron pan with brass pan cover. Brass lock with iron cock (the rest does not come out well, needs revision); wooden full stock with brass mounts. Complete with iron ramrod. length 109 cm.
