dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: France, Round, rifled, 11 mm cal barrels, engraved with the effigy of a column, provided with front sight. Turn-off barrels (one to be unlocked). Boxlock frames finely engraved with floral motifs, provided at the back with rear sight and with markings featuring the monogram 'RC' (Cusson & Rossignol) at the center, surrounded by the inscription 'BREVET D'INVENTION SANS GAR.TIE DU GOUV.T.' Hammers on the underside and with engravings. Ebony butts decorated with risers, butt-plates with screwed iron ramrod. Working mechanism. length 14,3 cm.
