dating: 1840 circa provenance: England, Round, smooth, juxtaposed, 14 mm cal. barrels with rib and foresight; tangs engraved and with sight. Forwardspring locks signed 'BAKER' partially engraved and with safety lock. Wooden stock with checkered butt. Beautiful silver mounts with embossed butt-plates shaped as a lion's head and with trigger guards richly engraved with floral motifs. Silver-tipped wooden ramrods. length 37.5 cm.
