dating: 1875 provenance: France, Two-stage, 11,4 mm cal. barrel, with visible rifling and clean bore, bearing the markings 'S.1875', 'Mle 1873', marks 'M' and 'J' within a circle and serial number 'F48xxx'. Smooth, six-shot cylinder, marked with crowned 'E' and with coeval serial number. Frame bearing marks, coeval serial number and inscription 'M.re d'Armes St. Etienne'. Checkered, wooden grips. Working mechanism. length 23,5 cm.
