dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Belgium, Rifled, octagonal, 11 mm cal. barrel (bore needs cleaning, visible rifling), with foresight, marked 'E. LEFAUCHEUX INV.R BREVETE', bearing crowned 'Z'. Six-shot cylinder, with elegant engraved and carved decoration depicting hounds between vine shoots on a grained background. Working mechanism. Frame engraved and carved en suite. A few areas of pitting. Ebony grips (cracks). Ring for the strap. length 30 cm.
