dating: Late 18th - Early 19th Century provenance: Naples, Smooth, two-stage, octagonal and round barrel, 24 mm cal barrel with brass-inlaid marks, one crowned with letters 'SCA / GN,' provided with rings and frame carved at the girdle, and with slightly bell-mouthed nozzle. Tang with engraved frame. Miquelet lock with a deep manufacturing mark on the plate, featuring small engravings and outlines. Working mechanism. Full wooden stock with floral carvings near the mounts. Iron ramrod. Brass mounts with remains of ancient gilding and floral carvings. Brass and iron butt plate. Counter-plate and barrel bracket decorated with fretwork. length 102 cm.
